Entertain
One of the best parts of having a big BBQ in your backyard is entertaining your guests. Think about the crowd you have invited and cater to the age group. Providing activities for your guests makes for an enjoyable party for all. Here are my favorite games/activities that I set out when having a 4th of July backyard BBQ.
Get Active
Corn hole is a great to get your guests on their feet and competing!
During 4th of July it can be so hot! Try cooling of your guests with water balloon wars! Have a balloons pre-filled and ready to go for a fun afternoon cool down!
For Relaxing
Don’t forget to keep your guests (and yourself) comfortable! These lounge chairs do just the trick without breaking the bank!
As the Sun Goes Down
As the sun starts to sink don’t forget to light a fire! This fire pit lets you enjoy a fire without any of the work of building a fire pit. Your guests (and you) will enjoy sitting around it as the sun sinks. Enjoy fireworks next to your fire pit. Added bonus, the smoke will help keep unwanted bugs away!
Food and Serving!
The most important part of your ultimate 4th of July backyard BBQ is the food! There are a million different options of meals to make that your guests will enjoy, but these items will make the cooking, prep and clean up a million times easier for you!
Prep It! Prep it Real Good!
Keep the day of mess to a minimum and prep your side dishes the day before! Use these stack-able, stainless steel bowls to prep and store your sides in. The lids seal the food, making sure it’s perfect for your guests no matter if it was made the day before or 5 minutes before they arrive.
Don’t stress over the heat and not wanting to put your cold dishes out for you guests. This inflatable ice holder is here to the rescue! Blow up, fill up with ice and nestle in your bowls and serving trays! This is a MUST HAVE for all out door parties!
Heat It Up!
My last must have item for the ultimate 4th of July backyard BBQ is a grill. Now, I’m not going to tell you about just any grill, this is THE grill. The grill that has cooked my brats and burgers, steaks and chicken, kabobs and veggies perfectly for the past year. I absolutely LOVE this grill. It can do it ALL! Propane, charcoal, smoke… it’s a jack of all trades! Or should I say, Joe of all trades;-)
Now you are all set to host the ultimate 4th of July backyward BBQ! I hope you have a great 4th of July this year!
